<p>This work is intended to be a guide for cardiologists unfamiliar with artificial intelligence, as well as for engineers and data scientists unfamiliar with cardiology. To the best of our knowledge, there is currently a lack of similar work presenting the current state of the art on the use of artificial intelligence-based models in cardiology. Similarly, there is a paucity of texts that thoroughly discuss the pros and cons of using this cutting-edge technology in the field of cardiology, both in routine clinical practice and in the context of research.</p><p>This volume will be of interest to all those interested in the application of artificial intelligence in the medical field, and specifically in cardiology.</p>
