Abstract <p>The Sardana software package has been upgraded to automate the experimental stations of synchrotron radiation, achieve nominal accuracy of positioner operation, reduce the time costs with minimal control by the operator, and conduct standard experiments with a flexible configuration. These upgrades have been used in the automated control system of the sample environment system of the experimental station 1-1 ‘‘Microfocus.’’</p>
