Abstract <p>An algorithm for detecting a single pulse with linear frequency modulation (LFM) is proposed for reception at low signal-to-noise ratios. This detection method is based on the characteristic properties of the LFM signal, distinguishing it from noise and interference signals, which allows the detection problem to be solved even with significant a priori uncertainty about the parameters of the useful signal.</p>
