Calibration of a Vector Magnetometer Based on Minimum Residual

Abstract
The article discusses calibration of a vector magnetometer. The instrumental errors of magnetometer production lead to unacceptable measurement errors. The statistical calibration method is proposed based on iterative minimization of the residual of measurement result and the exact value of the magnetic field induction obtained using a stationary high-precision meter. The effectiveness of the method is demonstrated by experimental results.
