Determination of the Local Loss Coefficient of Connecting Elements of Aviation Hydraulic Systems Based on a Virtual Experiment
摘要
The paper examines the possibility of using the virtual experiments in the FloEFD for Siemens NX and Femap software packages to determine the local loss coefficients in the connecting elements of aviation hydraulic systems. To verify the methodology, experiments were conducted on typical connecting elements. According to the developed methodology, local resistances of a tee-type hydraulic connector were studied during its operation in various modes. Based on the experimental results, flow distribution patterns inside the studied connectors and local loss coefficient values were obtained, and conclusions were made about the possibility of using the virtual experiments to solve such problems. The paper also describes a virtual experiment to determine temperature deformations in hydraulic connectors, and a conclusion is made about the absence of the need to take temperature deformations into account when calculating local loss coefficients.
