Numerical and Experimental Study of Thermohydraulic Processes in Slot Channels with Smooth-Streamlined Ribs and Staggered Arrays of Drop-Shaped Pins during Air and Carbon Dioxide Flow
摘要
Abstract
A numerical study was carried out of thermohydraulic processes in slot channels with heat transfer intensifiers in the form of staggered arrays of drop-shaped pins and smooth-streamlined ribs installed at different angles. Data were obtained on the coefficients of hydraulic resistance of channel models depending on the geometric parameters as well as the criterion relations for the averaged Nusselt numbers depending on the Reynolds, Prandtl numbers, and geometric parameters. Experimental validation of numerical simulation results was carried out.
