Numerical Study of Thrust Force Formation in a Bypass Ejector Pulsejet Engine and the Method of Its Boosting due to Redistribution of Heat Release along the Gas Duct Length

Abstract
On the basis of numerical calculation, the mechanism of thrust force formation in the bypass ejector pulsejet engine is given. It is shown how the impact on the combustion process by changing the heat release along the length of the gas duct can significantly improve the specific performance of the pulsejet engine. An explanation of the observed physical phenomenon is given on the basis of the effect of attached air masses.
