Methodology for Identifying the Parameters of the System for Correcting the Mass-Inertial Characteristics of Aircraft Structures Using the Test Bench Equipment

Abstract
A method was developed for identifying the parameters of the correction system for mass-inertial characteristics of aircraft structures with the bench equipment. Using a model of the correction system in the form of a balancing weight fixed by rods of variable length according to the “hexapod” scheme to the body of a symmetric structure, an experiment was conducted in the dynamic balancing mode with the bench equipment. The effectiveness of correction system in eliminating the mass-inertial asymmetry in the form of transverse displacement of the center of mass of the structure and deviation of the main central axis of inertia from the symmetry axis was demonstrated.
