Development of an Advanced Power Source Concept for Electrified Civil Aircraft

Abstract
The analysis of modern auxiliary power units for civil aircraft and helicopters was performed. Based on a core engine of the Central Institute of Aviation Motors (CIAM), the design and technical concept of the advanced power source as an auxiliary turboshaft gas turbine engine in the 180 kW power class was developed.
