Methods for Calculating the Emission Properties of H2O in Aviation Engineering Problems

Abstract
The databases of optical coefficients were generated for calculating the optical characteristics of water vapor using approximate methods, namely, a statistical narrow-band model and the k-distribution method. The calculation results of these methods were compared with the exact calculation method using spectral lines, which was used as a reference. A comparison of the calculation results with the available experimental data shows a satisfactory agreement.
