Development and Prospects of Application of the Method for Reconstructing the Three-Dimensional Shape of a Target Object with Determination of Zones of Optimal Impact

Abstract
This paper proposes a new approach to reconstructing the three-dimensional shapes of target objects. The method is based on object detection using a convolutional neural network, followed by fusing the recognition results with the depth map from a stereo camera. The prospects of applying this new approach are discussed based on the obtained results.
