Determination of the Area of Workpiece Destruction during the Deep Drawing into a Conical Die

Abstract
The paper presents a technique for determining the area of destruction of sheet materials using the combined deep drawing process. Using a linear diagram of the stress-strain state on the workpiece flange, the critical relative thickness was obtained at the moment, when a cone is formed from a flat workpiece, which makes it possible to determine the area of workpiece destruction at the initial wrinkles.
