Optimization of the Aerodynamic Configuration of the Isolated Wing for the Second-Generation Supersonic Passenger Aircraft
摘要
Abstract
The paper proposes the technique based on solutions of the Reynolds-averaged Navier–Stokes (RANS) equations for selecting the optimal aerodynamic configuration of the wing at the early design stages. The general optimization algorithm is presented taking into account a great number of design variables and constraints. A parameterization approach is presented that allows the efficient manipulation of the wing geometry. The results of aerodynamic optimization of the isolated wing of the second-generation supersonic passenger aircraft are presented.
