Improving Reliability and Safety of Low-Flow Medium/High Pressure Process Reciprocating Compressors
摘要
Abstract
The study considers the influence of the design of low-flow medium/high pressure process reciprocating compressors based on long-stroke low-speed stages with a liquid piston on their reliability and safety. A mathematical model of the processes of operation that incorporates the influence of design features is developed. It is established that the considered compressor design has advantages over commercially available counterparts in terms of mean time between failures, safety of temperature conditions, and weight and size parameters.
