Influence of the Modes of Rotary Turning with Multifaceted Cutters on the Roughness of the Machined Surface

Abstract
The characteristics of rotary turning with multifaceted cutters are investigated. The influence of cutting modes on the roughness parameters of the machined surface is determined. Empirical dependences are established that allow the roughness of the resulting surface to be predicted based on cutting modes to prevent the formation of kinematic waviness.
