Abstract <p>The article examines the role of scientific and technical information (STI) as a strategic resource for the aviation industry, and analyzes the main mechanisms of using STI in the technology transfer, design, production, and modernization of aviation equipment, identifying the institutional and organizational barriers to the effective use of STI. Special attention is paid to the impact of digitalization on information flow management and the integration of aviation enterprises into global technology chains. The study outcomes underline the strategic importance of STI for increasing the competitiveness and sustainable development of the aviation industry.</p>
