Abstract

Attention focuses on the use of a multilayer aluminum–boron coating with an electrochemically deposited nickel layer to modify the shaped linings of perforation charges. The optimal thickness of the nickel layer is established on the basis of experimental data and scanning electron microscopy. The influence of fine aluminum particles and the applied pressure on the penetration is determined. The results are of practical importance in ensuring more efficient perforation of oil and gas wells.
