Validation of a Simulation Model of Microrelief after Abrasive Machining
摘要
Abstract
The article presents an analysis of a mathematical model of surface microrelief formation after abrasive treatment. The developed model describes the digital representation of a machined surface in the form of a matrix of height values characterizing the roughness profile. To assess the accuracy of the simulation, its results were compared with experimental data obtained by grinding specimens. The validation was based on an analysis of microgeometry parameters measured using digital microscopy. The presented results of the study confirm the agreement of the theoretical and experimental data. Special attention is given to assessing the degree of discrepancies and possible causes of deviations.
