Abstract <p>Assessment of the condition of compressor bearings in a gas pumping system on the basis of periodic sampling and analysis of the lubricant is considered. The influence of the lubricant’s parameters on the vibrational load of the bearings is established. The results show that tribological diagnostics may be used to monitor the condition of frictional components in a compressor.</p>
