Abstract

A modern business faces many problems: delivering high-quality products, introducing new technologies, organizing an effective management system, reducing environmental pollution, ensuring favorable working conditions, etc. To help companies solve the problems, the International Organization for Standardization develops standards for management systems for quality, environmental protections, energy, occupational health and safety, etc. The recommendations provided in these standards can be used to implement a systematic approach to management, and, as a result, increase the effectiveness of business management. Effectiveness of the management system strongly depends on the control stage, which includes process monitoring, internal audit, and review of the management system by top management. The article discusses the algorithms for performing these steps.
