Pressure and Density Distribution in Axisymmetric Compactions Pressed in a Rigid Matrix

Abstract
The article considers the distribution of stresses and densities in a briquette obtained by cold pressing with subsequent sintering of iron-cast iron powder compositions. The distribution of densities across briquette height depending on the pressure acting on the die bottom, on the compaction pressure, is established. Stress distribution diagrams for the contact surfaces of an axisymmetric billet are given.
