Solid-Phase Welding of VT6 Titanium Alloy with Superplasticity
摘要
Abstract
The solid-phase weldability of VT6 titanium alloy with different structures at 900°C is studied in the presence of superplasticity. The quality of welds in samples with crystalline and microcrystalline structure depends on the texture. The increased weldability of the alloy in the solid state may be attributed to superplasticity, which is due to grain-boundary slip.
