Conceptual Model of a Machine Tool for Hybrid Production Based on Additive Technology

Abstract
A model of a machine tool for hybrid production is developed. A simplified structure of the hybrid machine tool is presented. The stages in its design are outlined. The use of information technology at different stages in the design is discussed. The composition of the system is described. A digital model of the supporting structure is formulated to determine its geometric parameters. Simulation with contacting objects, loads, and constraints is considered. The topology of the machine tool is optimized to obtain an optimal form. The strength of the structure is analyzed.
