Analysis of a Data Transmission Path Model for Specialized Distributed Computing Systems over Ethernet-Based Networks
摘要
This study presents the results of applying a modeling approach to the data transmission path of a specialized distributed computing system operating over Ethernet-based network segments. The method leverages software tools and computing platforms running the Linux operating system to simulate transmission behavior and assess the impact of changes in path characteristics on the system’s timing and reliability, while accounting for workload parameters and the specifics of a custom transmission protocol developed on top of the TCP/IP stack. The model’s accuracy was evaluated under various conditions, including reduced bandwidth, transmission delays, data loss, and distortion, demonstrating its suitability for use in software debugging and adaptation during the analysis of specialized distributed computing systems.
