Automotive Quality Management in the Context of Electromagnetic Compatibility Based on the APQP Methodology

A modern quality management system for new projects in the automotive industry, based on the APQP approach, and its effectiveness in terms of ensuring electromagnetic compatibility of developed vehicles are considered. The structure of the APQP approach is considered, taking into account the actions performed at each stage, as well as their inputs and outputs, taking into account the applied data quality management methods. Diagrams of the relationship of APQP stages with the superimposed scheme of input and output sequences are presented, demonstrating the chains of impacts on the implementation of input requirements for the project in the finished product. The role and place of quality management methods such as FMEA, SPC, MSA, and management plan in the overall APQP process are shown. A list of the main problems in the field of EMC is presented, taking into account their positioning within the APQP-process.
