External Wear of a Flush Pipe in a Drilling Rig
摘要
Abstract
Wear of the external surface of a flush pipe in the rotating part of a drilling rig’s top drive in is considered; means of wear reduction are discussed. It is established that wear is due to pipe contact with polymer cuffs, which is accompanied by chemical reaction and abrasion. At a drive speed of 80 rpm, pressure of 15 MPa is created, and the temperature rises in the contact zone.
