Abstract

The dynamic behavior of polyamide foam with different porosity is investigated. Such foam is widely used in aviation, shipbuilding, scientific instruments, and elsewhere. It is especially useful as a filler in the manufacture of multilayer components and in composites. Attention focuses here on acrimide produced by foaming from poly(meth)acrylamide of different density. Experiments are conducted with vibrational impact and gradually increasing frequency. The amplitude–frequency characteristic of the sample’s free end is determined with variation in the porosity and the level of perturbation.
