Surface Roughness of Chromonickel Steel after Water Jet Machining: A Full Factorial Experiment
摘要
Abstract
The surface roughness of Hardox-500 chromonickel steel is studied after hydroabrasive (water jet) machining, as a function of the cutting conditions (jet pressure, quantity of abrasive, and longitudinal supply of the workpiece), by means of a full factorial experiment. On that basis, a formula for the surface roughness Ra is derived.
