Abstract <p>Issues arising in designing automated welding technology using the SprutCAM Robot module are examined. The process of welding the “brake beam head” part and choosing the optimal location of this part in the working space of the welding robot is also considered. The welding process was simulated for four options of the part’s location, and conclusions were drawn based on the calculation results.</p>
