Deformation of Locally Heated Cylindrical Shell in Gas-Dynamic Flow
摘要
Abstract
Axisymmetric deformation of a thin cylindrical shell when a local temperature field acts over an annular section of its lateral surface is considered. The solution is based on classical shell theory and generalized functions. In this case, accurate solution is extremely difficult; the Bubnov method is employed, at high levels of approximation. The inverse problem is also considered, permitting the determination of the permissible temperatures in heat treatment from the known shell displacement. Examples are presented.
