摘要

Abstract

The formation of adjustable microrelief of tool electrode (TE) samples manufactured by selective laser melting (SLM) from MS1 martensitic aging steel by copy-piercing electrical discharge machining (EDM) is studied. A regression model describing the relationship between the surface quality parameter of TE—Ra roughness depending on the modes of copy-piercing EDM has been obtained. It is established that the minimum value (Ra = 2.95 165 μm) of surface roughness on a TE is obtained at strength of current I = 4 A and voltage U = 75 V. The pulse on time has a negligible effect on the surface roughness. The maximum roughness value Ra = 4.037 was obtained at strength of current I = 8 A and voltage U = 75 V.
