Abstract
Predicting the microrelief of machined surfaces at the design and development stage is of immense importance today. Such research is a priority because the properties of contacting surfaces significantly affect the performance of mechanisms. Research on the creation of components whose mechanical properties closely approximate those required is of great economic value.
