Determining Abrasive Parameters at the Tool’s Working Surface: A Review

Abstract
Given increasing quality requirements on machined surfaces, abrasive machining must be improved; modeling of the machining process plays a role here. Research shows that simulation of the height and linear parameters of the abrasive tool’s relief permits prediction of the machined surface’s characteristics. Theoretical and experimental models of the parameters of the tool’s working surface are considered in the present work.
