Abstract
Ultrasonic smoothing of workpiece surfaces is considered. Additional sensors improve the informational efficiency of the tool. A device is proposed for experimental determination of informative parameters, providing the basis for assessment of the surface quality in the course of smoothing. Measurements of parameters such as the mechanical power and the resistance of the load permit assessment of the effectiveness of smoothing.
