Abstract

The article considers the structure of the first stage of the risk management procedure, which involves preparation and planning, on the examples of the failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) method. Two models of the FMEA preparation and planning stage are presented—(1) a functional model based on the IDEF0 notation and (2) a process model based on the BPMN notation. These models present the major actions, participants, and data and document flows for this stage.
