Pressing of Hybrid Composites in Drone Manufacture

The pressing of hybrid composites with specified properties best meeting the needs of pilotless aircraft (drones) is considered. The proposed model of this process adequately reflects the proportions of the components in the composite and the pressing conditions (pressure, polymerization temperature, and holding time). On the basis of experiments, the characteristics of the hybrid composite (containing glass and carbon fibers) are expressed as a function of the proportion of carbon fibers and the influence of the pressing conditions on the properties of the material is established.
