Abstract

The article considers the problems of studying the stress–strain state of geometrically complex parts of variable stiffness during their machining on the example of large-sized compressor blades of a gas turbine engine. The proposed approach is based on using the methods of finite element analysis to generate a blade stiffness matrix, which is then used in the process of adaptive belt grinding. Results of numerical experiments are presented. Recommendations on the application of the results for configuring cutting modes are given.
