Novel Method of Manufacture of Highly Porous Powder Products
摘要
Abstract
The article considers a method of forming highly porous powder products based on the principle of mixture-blasting compaction of a powder mixture. Changes in the speed of the powder-air jet during the filling of a briquette mold with bottom ventilation depending on the duration of blasting with compressed air are investigated. The advantages of this method of forming highly porous briquettes in comparison with cold pressing are explained. It is shown that this method of forming with subsequent sintering can be used to manufacture highly porous products of large size and complex structures.
