Experimental Simulation of Contact Fracture of Parts of a Driven Slotting Head
摘要
Abstract
The study analyses the operating conditions of parts of the mechanism of a driven slotting head. A technique for obtaining a contact fatigue curve for aluminum alloys during longitudinal reverse movement of a specimen is developed, and a curve for aluminum alloy 2024-T3 is constructed. The expected time of the onset of failure of the surface of the head rod is determined. It is shown that the moment of contact fracture of the rod can be calculated based on the fatigue limit without access to experimental data on contact fatigue.
