Development Methods for Pilotless Aircraft

Abstract
Development methods for pilotless aircraft (drones), which are currently of great interest, are analyzed. Spheres of human activity where such systems are used to solve infrastructure problems are noted. A development method is proposed; this method covers stages such as the development of an adjustable system composition, the development of a parameterized control structure, the creation of a digital twin, engineering analysis, generative design and topological optimization, the creation of a catalogued library of digital models for the primary and secondary equipment, and the development of design documentation. Approaches to the development of an adaptive subsystem for the pilotless system are outlined.
