Abstract
The engagement of higher kinematic pairs is considered. In particular, the interference of round teeth with intermediate cylindrical rollers is analyzed. The superposition of active tooth surfaces on the roller surface is calculated at a practical level, within the permissible overlap for each roller in the case of a continuous engagement field.
