Assessment of the Maturity of Corporate ESG Practices of Air Carriers in the Context of Sustainable Development of Aviation Enterprises

The problems of sustainable development are currently very relevant in the context of the rapidly changing business environment and in view of the issues of environmental protection and socio-economic development of Russia. The article compares Russian companies with companies of other countries ones in terms of meeting the goals of sustainable development and presents an assessment of the maturity level of air carriers using a model for assessing corporate ESG practices. The maturity of corporate ESG practices is assessed on the example of the country’s largest airlines—Aeroflot, S7, and Ural Airlines, whose positions in the sustainable development model are determined.
