Increasing of the Service Life of Massive Tools Using Combined Restoration and Hardening Technologies

Abstract
The article considers combined methods of restoration and hardening of massive metalworking and tillage tools, which involve both induction hardening or surfacing and plasma surface treatment. The methods increase not only the hardness and wear resistance of the tool material, but also its toughness and crack resistance, which is not achieved by traditional methods of surface hardening.
