Restoration of High-Temperature Turbine Blade Ridges by Laser Cladding

Abstract
A useful model is proposed for the temperature distribution in an applied layer of VZh159 heat-resistant chromium alloy powder and at its boundary with the base (ZhS6U nickel superalloy) in laser cladding. Optimal cladding conditions for the application of powder to alloy blades are identified. The properties of the applied layer and the quality of its bond with the base are determined. No defects—pores, cracks, or lack of bonding—are observed in the applied layer or at the boundary.
