Development of a Knowledge Base for Operational Diagnostics of Synchronous Generators in Autonomous Systems

Abstract
Operational monitoring of the condition of synchronous generators in an autonomous system is proposed, by means of a fuzzy inference system. A knowledge base for a synchronous generator module is developed for diagnostics on the basis of expert assessment. Analytical formulas for describing the influence of the operating conditions on the state of synchronous generators are derived.
