Improving the Efficiency of Variable Electric Drives of Laser Machining Centers

Abstract
The study examines current trends in the development of the machine tool industry in Russia, in particular the introduction of multi-axis laser machining centers, and presents an overview of approaches to improving the efficiency of their production. It is shown that there is a need to improve data measurement and control systems of variable electric drives in order to reduce costs and increase reliability. A block diagram and a simulation model of a data measurement and control system for a variable electric drive characterized by low production costs and increased reliability are presented.
