Clamping and Motion of Adaptive Attachments for Gas-Turbine Blades by Means of a Robot Manipulator
摘要
Abstract
The structure and composition of a robotic system for adaptive superfinishing of fan and compressor blades for gas-turbine engines are considered. Different workpiece positions are required for different operations. Consequently, the basing elements of the blade’s adaptive attachment must be removed and replaced by means of a robot manipulator. Existing adaptive attachments for use in securing blades are described. Two systems for fixing the blade’s adaptive attachment by means of a robot manipulator are proposed: one is based on a clamp; the other is based on conical pins.
