Solution for the Operational Repositioning of Saw Modules when Automating Sawmill Equipment

Abstract
The problem of operational repositioning of saw modules on the shafts of the saw unit is solved to obtain lumber of different sizes by changing the distances between the modules. A scheme of a self-locking manipulator is proposed, which provides rigid temporary fixation of saw modules in a specified position.
