Importance of Technologists for the Development of the Country’s Industrial Potential

Abstract
The article considers the role of mechanical engineering technologists in design and engineering preparation of production and manufacture of mechanical engineering products. It is shown that enterprises are currently underutilizing the technological potential of the industry. Examples of new technological developments are given.
