Effectiveness of Internal Grinding by Wheels with Abrasive Grains of Different Sizes

Abstract
The grinding of holes by fundamental technological elements with characteristic variation of abrasive action at the workpiece surface is considered. Equations are derived for the number of active grains within the element. The proposed process of internal grinding by a wheel with abrasive grains of different size proves effective. In this approach, elements corresponding to rough, fine, and superfine machining are combined within a single pass.
